I race 400 small block chevy bored .040 over the rules are requiring 18 inches of vaccuum @ 800 RPM I am pulling it at 1,000 RPM but 16 @ 800 I have doing some checking on some cams but they cannot gaurantee that it will pull so i am kinda hesitating on buying it. anybody have any ideas on what kind of cam. without getting a stock one.

Have you put a vacume guage on your carb and adjusted it? You may be able to get those 2 inches that way and prevent yourself from having to replace your cam.

Get you something with around 480 lift, 110 to 112 lobe seperation, and use rhoades lifters, you will have all the vaccum you need.
