I PUT A LARGER CARB ON MY 350, NOW IT HAS A BAD HESITATION WHEN YOU TRY TO ACCELERATE ROCHESTER 2 BARREL-OTHER CARB WAS VERY RESPONSIVE. WHAT COULD BE THE TROUBLE? I REBUILT BOTH CARBS MYSELF. THANKS IN ADVANCE

could be the wrong power pistion spring, or
secondary air valve tension spring needs
some adjustment to control opening of air valve rate.

Hi Rick! :-)

It's more than likely in the accelerator pump circuit. Squirters should start as soon as throttle begins to move, with no delay.
And the power piston spring (as stated above) needs to be adjusted according to the idle vacuum reading on the motor in question.

Oh sure ya can. Ask my wife, it's REAL easy! LOL!

I'm about as "human" as they come. Made every stupid mistake in the book, and always seem to invent a new one here and there once in a while.
But we try real hard NOT to make the same one twice, which (I hope, anyway) helps save the ol' "rep" from disgrace. :-)

I TOOK THE CARB BACK APART FOUND THAT THE BALL UNDER ACCELERATOR PUMP HAD GOTTEN OUT OF THE HOLE ON ASSEMBLY WORKS GREAT NOW THANKS FOR THE IDEAS!!!
