I just bought a 80 camaro with stock springs and shocks and I was wondering what kinda springs and shocks should I use to race? Front and rear. Im racing at a half mile track with about 14 deg. of banking. What pound springs are good in those cars?

I am building a new 77 Nova which is similar, on my old 73 I ran 1000# lf 225# lr 900# rf and 200# rr the track I run on is 3/8 high bank for the new Nova im going to try 1100# lf and 1000# rf to see if its any better hope this helps. Eddie

are you guys runnin softer springs on the right frt versus left frt to promote roll? ive never tried before. always stiffer on the right side in frt, and the rear is a diffirent story. usally anywhere from 25 to 100# split in the back. we have ran as much as 400# split in the front.

my mistake, that should be lf 1000 rf 1200 i think the best thing we did was get that thing as low to the ground as we could 4 3/4" lf 5" rf 5 1/2 on rear. moved rear shock mounts down so we could use some of the shock travel.I wanted to go with lighter springs 900 lf 1100rf (even got the springs) but my setup guy told me i was crazy. after running his settup i guess i am. oh almost forgot and a KP carb= bad fast
