turn the shaft down and use the Chevy its only a few thousands smaller (.030) i think. the chevy is cheaper and easier to find also. i did that for years until the Brinns and Berts..ford5

I used a longer bearing on a Pontiac one time because the fork was hitting just like yours.Worked fine.
