We might run a set of GM heads w/no accessory holes. But, I want to keep the current power-steering pump/pulley/lines as they are (metric 84 MC) to keep pulleys lined up (short WP, 2-groove pulleys on crank & WP).

Any ideas about current aftermarket brackets that'd mount it to the block or maybe an intake bolt?

Thanks much.

I have a Jones Racing serpentine setup that uses a 3 bolt bracket for the PS pump. 2 bolts go into the front of the block beside the t-cover and the 3rd goes in the front uppper outside corner of the head (the hole up by the valve cover rail in the front of the head). Anyway, when I switched from 601 heads to 461's that didn't have the hole I thought I was screwed. Well, I called Jones Racing and they said the heads are solid in that spot and just to grind a flat spot, drill a hole about 3/4" deep and tap it. They said a 3/8" hole would fit, but I was squimish and only drilled it for a 5/16" bolt. With about 3/8" more spacers the bracket line right up and worked fine. I'm not sure about the other 2 bolt locations, but at least for that one you can 'create' it on the older heads. Made things alot easier for me than buying new brackets or modifying things.

I drill and tap a hole in my double humps.I do't ever take the stud out because the metal is a little thin. I have one set that I have ran off and on for 13 YEARS AND HAVE NOT BROKE YET.

I've got an older block mount type that bolts to the two front bolts on the block and the adjustment bracket bolts to the three motor mount bolts between the block and mount and it's designed for the short pump,it's beencut or the bigger harmonic balancer also

Deak, Make sure your pump has the threaded shaft or this bracket will not work. Go to Speedway's web site and click on the shown installed for a diagram. I looked over you saying 84 MC. It may not work on that pump.
