HEY GUYS WHAT WOULD BE YOUR INTERPRETATION OF A RULE THAT STATES "STOCK TYPE IGNITION ONLY" TO ME THAT MEANS ANY THAT USES AN HEI DESIGN(FLAME THROWER , D.U.I. ) WHAT DO YOU THINK? HOW FAR SHOULD I PUSH IT?

dui with the sticker s****ed off it is a stock TYPE not as apposed to a mag which would not be a stock TYPE ignition.any hei should be okay thats what are rules are i run a dui with and ignition solutions spark box. the spark box wire plugs in the tach port of the hei so it does'nt look out of place and the box is so small it could take you hours to find it.lol no one has yet.lol not even my old man

AS LONG AS YOU DONT RUN A MAGNETO OR MSD BOX I DONT THINK YOU WILL HAVE A PROBLEM. YOU COULD PUT THOSE DUI PARTS ON A STOCK VEHICLE WITHOUT ANY MODIFICATION SO IN MY BOOK THAT WOULD BE STOCK IGNITION.

There are alot of companies that sell racing coils, modules, rotors, caps, etc that look stock that work MUCH better than stock.I agree with JRB that as long as everything mounts in the stock location you should be fine.Any rule should be pushed to the limit, just my .02!

I use a 6 volt flashlight battery . I run it between the switch an HEI. It gives about 15 volts to the HEI. Hey it's "stock"... Just hide the battery so Tech dont see it... 2 years and no one knows it's there.
