The Midwest Enduro Stock Car series schedule is out. Great series, close racing and the rules are enforced!
The 2004 Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series schedule of events has been released. The schedule can be found at the Series website at www.racingonline.com/enduro
The Series will return to the Lake Geneva Raceway(Lake Geneva, WI) on Monday May 31, Monday September 6 and Saturday October 23. A (test & tune)practice day is also scheduled at the track on Sunday April 25. The Midwest Enduro small car Series (4-cyl.)will also be an addition to all three race dates. Additional programs at the Raceway include kids rides in the cars, celebrity race, penny pickup, children's costume contest and powder puff event.
Two traditional events are scheduled at the Grundy county Speedway(Morris, IL) on Sunday July 4 and Saturday September 11. A powder puff event on July 4 and a mechanics race on September 11 are also included in the race program.
The Series will mark its 10th consecutive season of competition at the State Park Speedway (Rib Mountain~Wausau,WI). Two events are scheduled at the 1/4 mile paved historic facility, one on Saturday June 12 and another on Saturday July 17.
On Saturday night July 24 the Series will headline at the LaSalle Speedway(LaSalle, IL) for a 150 lap event as part of fan appreciation night at the track. The Super Late Models and Mid-western late model divisions will proceed the enduro event.
The Series will make their deput at the Powercom Speedzone(Oshkosh,WI) on Friday night August 20 for the running of the "Buddig Old Wisconsin Sausage 200" enduro event. Proceeding the main event is a 4-cylinder compact car enduro style 50 lap shootout sponsored by Prestige Auto Sales. The 4-cylinder event has $400 going to the winner of the event. Plaque awards and and prize money will be distributed to the top ten in the event and additional prize money will be disbursed depending on car count. A reduced entry fee will also apply if pre-entered in the event or any series event.
The Series will return to the Dells Motor Speedway on Friday June 18 after a one year absence. A 250 lap event is scheduled with a 7 pm. start time.
Sponsorship is still available for many Series events and programs.
