Building a 73 chevelle pure stock, my brother said I can get an adapter to replace the stock calipers with metrics and save about 4 pounds per side, am wondering if that little of weight loss will make a difference. Also, has anyone used speed bleeders and are they worth the money? I hate bleeding brakes!

any time that you can loose weight from unsprong weight do it as far as bleaders I just gravity bleed them then have some one help finish pumping them don't know about those bleaders.

Anytime you can save weight at a reasonable price do it and if its up front thats even better every little bit helps and like Joe said when you get ready to bleed the brakes make sure you top off the master cyl. and open all the bleeders and let them gravity bleed when your gettin fluid to all the wheels shut them off and start bleeding furthest wheel from the master cyl. which is RR and work your way to the master cyl. hope this helps....Towman
