Where do ya get a tubing bender? And what kind of welder is best for cages? Thanks for the info, bmir73

I've tryed welding a few times but didnt know if it was MIG or TIG. Thanks for the info! bmir73

I bought the Lincoln SP 125. It is a good little machine, but now I wish I would have bought a bigger one that would run on 220v. There is a long thread on this in the tools section.

Yeah,you're right racer17 about the welding part. Guess I didn't think of that life or death thing! Just want to race so badly that it sometimes clouds my judgement. More than likely, I'll buy a car with a cage in it. Thanks for the info,guys! Hey JoJo, where did you get the welder?

i got a lincoln ac/dc arc welder lol, works great!

harbour frieght has good deals on welders,i would recomend the hobart 175,built the last car with the 135,just didn't have enough snot.do not buy there tubing bender!it works o.k.for bumpers but i would NEVER bend a cage with it.i also bought there 60$ auto dark helmet,best thing i ever bought.makes the job go faster,and safer.
