dumb question here! got my new leafs in last week and are talking about grease and duct tape or not. my question is the bands on the springs should they be removed or not? my old springs bands were still on it but don't beleive they were in original locations. thanks

i left mine on,as far as tape and what not,i run landrums and they come with a plastic "friction"insert.i talked with the sales rep and was told to just give them a squirt of wd40 after washing .worked great, bind free all season.

by bands on the springs i am guessing you mean the metal ones to hold it togethere, leave those on, i hit a rut one night and the car broke the rr band off and the car handled funny, got back to the pits and it had became unstacked, one to th left, on to the right.
also if they have teflon inserts leave them in they are great. dont forget to still wd-40.
