I need to buy a powersteering kit. Most places sell a PS kit with either 8AN or 10AN fittings. Which should I buy?

Next.. I need headers for an IMCA stock car metric Monte Carlo.

Speedway sells two headers... a high velocity and an regual Shoenfield.

Is the more expensive one worth the money?
Which tube size? 1-5/8 or 1-3/4

8AN is 1/2" and would be fine. I have a kit from Jones Racing that uses a single serpentine belt. The PS pump only has 6AN lines and works very nicely. But, it was a bit pricey around $500 including the belt, pump and all the other pieces parts.

1-5/8" for under 360 CID and 1 3/4" for over 360 CID would be my recommendation depending on how fast your winding the motor. Up to 6000rpm, the 1-5/8" would be better for any small block. Over 6000, go with the bigger tube if it's a 'big' small block.
