I have a Regal with a Olds drive trane, I'm building into a street stock and was wondering if the old's transmission will fit a Chevy motor.

It will not fit unless you have the dual pattern transmission or an adapter. Good luck.

There are three styles of automatic transmission cases used depending on the vehicle and type of trans. Generally there are (1)Chevy bolt pattern (2)BOP-Buick/Olds/Pontiac (3)Universal-fits them all. Is it a Turbo 350 or 200? If it is an Olds motor and trans it will not fit unless it is a universal case.

Yes an olds tranny will bolt to a chevy motor.

When I first started driving I had a 81 cutlass with a chevy 305 in it. The drive line was olds.

All the holes in the bell will not fit up, but the two on the sides will.

I drove this car for 4 or 5 years with no problems at all.

However it was not under racing conditions, it was street.

Double have you ever tried to bolt a olds tranny to a chevy block????

The pattern is different, but two holes match up and will take a bolt.

Try it.

I am not saying it is right, but it will work.
