What do you do when your floorpan starts rusting out?If the rules call for a stock one would an aftermarket one be considered legal?Any help will be greatly appriciated.

I agree with 17j. I cut out the bad spots and weld in a new piece. Eddie

if they let you do what we do up here in the rust belt cut the wholke floor out replace it with steel or tin and tell them that the whole floor was rotted their is no way to tell how much was really gone.

we leave the stock tranny tunnel in though. we don't use floor at all on the pass side we can have a full tub but there is no reason u shouldnt be able to cut the floor out and replace it.as long as it is in the stock location. ask your tech official ours is 76 years old and doesnt see so good so we can get away with alot of things.lol
