I have a 3 speed saginaw and it seems to be leaking some fluid from somewhere, where are they prown to leak from, I cant really see where it could be at, It has fluid on the bottom of tranny near the front and continues on back. What about the little round hole where I think the speedometer cable went can it leak?

Do you have it siliconed were the speedo cable goes? I had one that started leaking and found out the ears on the tranny were starting to break. Just something to check.

I usually cut a old speedo cable and silicone the end of it and screw it in there.

can, but its probably over full and or has a bad gasket on the front from your description.

the cone around the input shaft has a gasket on it, and a large brg, oem brgs are usually open, while you can get a sealed type brg aftermarket for them. Ive only had that leak over full though.

could have cracked the case also, wipe it off and wait, if you run it in gear and warm it up it will be a easy find for sure.
