I have found the best thing for that year nova is replacing the whole front stub with a 75-79 nova front stub. Not only is the geometry better the durability and availability is way better. They are direct bolt ins except a little massaging with a 1lb sledge on the front bolt mounts. And the radiator core support still allows the fenders to bolt up correctly. Wider frame horns for the radiator also.

68 thru 74 nova, 67 thru 69 camaro. all one and the same. you can use frt. steer spindles from a 70 thru 81 camaro, or 75 thru 79 nova, if you run the left on the right, and vice versa. this will require mods to steering to correct steering geometry, and may be more involved than what you want to get into. we used the older rear steer clips in all the old novas and camaros for years because they were lighter and worked well with stock , a arms, etc. (or so we thought) technology has changed.
