Sometimes you just have to attach the piece with a couple pairs of vise grips, pull up a chair, and be creative.

Anything can be done with a welder, torch, pop rivets...and a couple of beers,

A few years ago I smashed up my Monte and had a ThunderBird nose piece laying around. It found its way on the just gotta to do what you gotta do sometimes.

Keep the rear of the car plain and simple....meaning easy to repair and cost effective.
Here is a picture of the rear of Monte I ran a couple years ago,and this is after a full season of racing.

Yes....those would be pavement tires on a dirt car. Bored one Sunday, borrowed some stuff from a follow asphalt racer and went racing.

When you got the race've got the race bug.

I agree with RACER17j, the tail piece is a wast of money. Ours lasted 2 weeks when we got rearended and the first thing to fly past the driver was the tail piece, would have been better off to throw the 100 bucks out the window. We fit the nose piece by cutting out the front fender support. It fit well but when we lost the nose piece in an incident the fenders stuck out like a pair of wings,so if you do it that way, make sure you make a light bracket to hold the bottom of the fenders in place.
