#1 Dont try to win in the first 10 laps. It is a long race, run smart and consistant.
#2 Protect the radiator, have a good shroud and try to find a way to keep the mud from clogging the radiator screen.
#3 Read tip #1
In California, it usually takes up to 30 laps for the track to dry out due to the promotors overwatering the track. Often times the "rookies" and the unlucky try to do too much in the beginning and cause their own problems such as over revving the motor and overheating or plowing into other cars because they forgot that their car wont stop quickly on the mud.
If you are lucky to start on a dry track, then go for it!

Just keep in mind it's all about tires, and you need a big fuel cell.

drive smart and gas it for the end. we ran a 50 lapper last year and ONLY 2 cars finished. out of 30 thats crazy. save your tires.

Hey James. Good luck Saturday. I am leaving the country tomorrow, Aruba bound, won't be back until Monday. I wish I could run the enduro though. I'll be thinking about you guys Saturday night, hope you can finish up front. Rusty
