Try geting all the moveable weight in the car as far to the rear as possible. Then go for 52% left and 50% cross. Leave everything else the same for now.

Move about #40 to the right rear. and shim springs or jack wedge into car to get to 50%

Take one shim out of RR to get more cross. If that is not enough add it to LR

Ok you are telling me to move 40lbs to right rear, and put 2in shim under l/r and 1in shim under r/r?What about the ride hight that will lower the r/f even with l/f. Right??

I must 3400lbs.I feel the car is pretty fat to but i have alot of extra bars for the body.Where i race it is like a major demo in a circle.I feel if you cant win you better look good trying. How much should i move to the bumper? Any input is a major help. I was pm to change my gear.I am at 6.30 on a 3/8 mile pretty flat. Is that ok? Thanks for all the help!

First, you don't have enough total rear. Second, I would go up on Rf spring, put 250 on LR and 200 on RR. What is your total travel on RF spring? set that total distance no more than 11.5 inches to include spacer and spring. That is where I would start out with your car. But thats just me, other drivers setup different. If you have to race @ 3550 to get better numbers than so be it. I would try adding lead first over the rear tires before hanging it on the bumper, that can lead to a handful. What is your toe out?, some toe out can add bite. Make sure you have more positive castor in the RF than the left front.

Oops, I see where you stated your car is 3600? If your that heavy with those numbers, your car is way fat as stated above. Make sure you don't have excessive bars.

No one on here can tell you how to get your car, at your track, with your driving style, the fastest it can be. We can only get you closer than you are now. As far as shims I thought you had 2 1" shims under rr and 1 1" under left rear. I would start out with the simple stuff first. like taking the 2" shim out and puting a 1" shim under rr. then if it is still loose put 2" under lr. don't worry about your ride heights. It wont change them that much and it does not have a big affect on handling. Move all the weight to the rear bumper! Don't go changing springs and ride heights and all that stuff just yet. Lets get you in the right church first then the right pew later.

what size engine are you running & what RPM are you turning?

a 6.30 gear does not sound right for 3/8s track.

oh yea.... what tranny are you useing?

I can't stay out of this one!!! Go stand in front of your car. Open the hood. Now-----anything you see that either doesn't make the motor run or the car safe gets thrown in a pile. Take that pile to the scrap yard and never look back!!!!!! Your front end isn't fat-it's OBESE! Any amount of spring or wedge change will not overcome tha lack of rear percentage you have on that heavy of a car. JMHO--- JoJo
