Are those the centerbolt style heads with the two center intake holes at a different angle than the others? If they are throw them in the pile. If its the heads Im thinking of they are standard TBI fuel injection heads used from 87-95 on the trucks. They are good if you need wieght in the trunk, but otherwise dump em.

Those heads are not junk all you have to do is fill the two center intake bolt holes with JB weld and redrill them to 90 degrees and tap with a 3/8" tap. I just did it to a set of 193 heads and put them on my 80 GMC pickup this week. The bonus is they are 64cc chambers and they flow really well.

you can also have your intake bolt holes remachined to match the heads.

Its a lot easier to redrill your intake than try taping the heads I just use a 3/8s drill bit and oblong the holes where the intake bolts can be started strait up and down....Ive done it to 3 motors and havent had any problems.....Towman
