Been running a "313" 2BBL manifold suppose to be a good one. Was wandering any advantage on going to 4 BBL manifold. 1/4 mile dirt. 350 w/cam and 305 heads. Thanks, RACE

Good question id like to know the thoughts on this one. I run a 4bbl intake with a 2bbl adapter for my 4412 i thought this was the way to go. Eddie

i had a 4 barrel intake on my 350, switched to a 2 barrel, and the throttle response was a lot better in the corners but i feel like i lost a little on the straights... i have a 4412 and morosos 2barrel wooden phenolic spacer.. with this spacer i can run a whole race and when i come back in i can touch the carb and its still cool to the touch.. but the spacer was alomost 70 bucks!!

I run a 69 350. the stock heads were 441# intake was 6313# this moter was 250 hp stock with 2brl. i think you have same intake, but what heads do you have?
when running a 4brl intake with spacer changes hieght of carb which will usually move your peak hp up a few rpm's. might be good or bad. my car never runs higher than 5400 rpm's, but if you are in the 6000+ rpm range a 4 brl intake might be better. hope this helps
