Looking for best/better exhaust manifolds. I put headers on and my motor came alive, but can't run headers or center dumps. The mans I have must be the smallest ever made. They need to be a stock item untouched. Hope someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks, Race

I have a pair of rear dumps off an 87 pickup. Very nice flowing manifolds. They will only need studs for the outlets installed and to have the O2 sensor hole plugged but otherwise are fine.
Make me an offer and they're yours, I have no use for 'em.

1996 and up Vortec 350 truck exhaust manifolds are supposed to flow well. The vortec manifolds are '96 to '98 P/U, Tahoe,Sub.

the truck manifolds with the rear dump on the left side wouldn't work on my metric car without serious firewall modifications. ones out of a TBI van will work though. The better manifolds take a 2 1/4" flange instead of the 2".

I use the vortec manifolds on old heads. The frame clearance on the left is close you may have to "alter" the edge of the frame at the flange.

I agree with 15a. I swithced to these babies this season and I can tell the difference. They really help the motor breath. Yes, they do work on old heads, as I'm running
sbc 041x heads.

We are running 305 manifolds off of a iroc. No problems with clearance at all. Hope that helps.
