Does anybody now how deals with aftermarket MacPherson Struts? I running an '86 T-Bird. Also do they come in different weights or adjustable?

Thanks Frank

ss90 is correct. QA1 makes them too, but they are also expensive and they're aluminum. i'm not sure how durable they would be. if you ever raced a strut car, beating and bangin' will bend the struts. it's a tough night when you bend a $230 strut.

i use the stock heavy duty replacements...

Outlaw, Thanks.Just so I understand you use a stock heavy duty replacement strut. What do you do for the front springs? Does Afco have something that fits under there?

my car is a mustang(similiar to a t-bird) with a 393w set back to the front plug/balljoint rule. it puts the balancer right over the rack. i use a 1000 lb. on the LF and a 1100 lb. on the RF. we have a 3000 lb. weight limit. you need 5 1/2" springs to fit the control arm correctly. i use speedway springs but afco makes them as well as others. hope this helps. good luck.
