DirtDevil,
The first two years I raced in the bomber class we had to run a stock radiator. I really didn't have a problem with my motor overheating. I was only turning my motor about 5400 rpms so that might of had a little to do with it. Hope this helps. 34Racing

ok here we go. hope this comes out right. my dad fixes radiators in his repair shop. the guy he buys his radiators from used to do the cooling on harry gants winston cup cars. ok, this is what was explained to me. yes the aluminum one is lighter, but a high efficient 3 row copper/brass radiator cools better because there are more fins per inch. also it takes less water in the cooling system and therefore after your all filled up and ready to go, the copper/brass is lighter and better cooling. gould

thanks gould, i've been trying to tell these guys the new "high efficiency" copper/brass cores were better......the newer designed radiators have 3/8" tubes. like i've been saying on the other radiator topics: it's easier to cool a thin stream of water than it is to cool a thick stream. i was beginning to wonder if anyone else would back me up!

Dirtdevil, What kind of front suspension does your Lincoln have? I'm running a 86 T-bird. Just see if there is any info we can trade.
