What it a good cooling range? The last race of the year we stuck an extra temp guage in the car. We have the typical manifold temp sensor and we put one in the water pump right before entering the engine block. Our thinking is to find the hottest temp and the coolest temp. At the manifold we had about 230 degrees and at the pump we had 190 degrees. What ranges should be sought or are we close? We were slowly working out some season long overheating problems. We put a ¾ inch restrictor in for the last few races and it kept our high temp stable.

I use a bottle or two of the Hyperlube mixed with the water and ran at 210 degrees with 42 degrees advanced. Eddie
