i just wanted to share my experience with shadow racing products.i got a set of bilsteins from them and tried them this week.one shock leaked and another locked up solid.i called them and they said oh well thats racing.then they tried to sell me those super shox.i also tried a bar car jacker a year ago and the weld on the torsion stop broke on the very first lap.the quality on shadow stuff is horrible and i wont buy that junk again.

I have responded to this person privatly, I would like to thank the many people who called me about this post, and reinforced there support in our product with me, and for the record, we never "push" shock products on anyone, and always offer a free test period with loaners, if you like'em you buy'em, you don't, you send them back, its the way its been for the last 2 of the 3 years we have been doing shocks. As for broken torsion stops, we had 3 weld failures since 1997 out of over 1000 built that we were told about! and those were replaced at NO CHARGE! not bad in my opinion, any of you guys ever have a part fail? Was it replaced for free?

torsion stops should never be welded in the first place ! not even with a tig.you should have a one piece design manufactured.
