Well I plan on buildng a chassis of my own design. I'm only using a Teo chassis to work out my suspension ideas. If it is possible you may want to buy a used chassis. Maybe you can get hooked up with a sprint car guy that comes to the US to buy used sprint car parts and send them back in a shipping container. I know alot of the WoO sprint guys I may be able to get you hooked up with a guy that does that.

Hey thanks for the help.Im from Australia we run similar to the dirt rules (we can only run a 358 no big blocks).
The car i run at present is similar to an OLSEN 1997 or maybe earlier but i can only run 104" wheelbase so i would like to update to current chassis teo or bicknell.
the trouble i have is that sprintcar parts here are really expensive and too LIGHT they bend and break.

The problem i have is that prob 95% of guys i run with either use sprintcar parts or make their own, Some order thru Bicknells as i do or when i come to the states on holidays i bring a big suit case and buy up.
Thats the trouble when you live thousands of miles away!!!!
But if you could help me with some Chassis measurements i would be gratefull.

The torsion rack width,The offset of the rack in the chassis,Engine plate to the centre of the first torsion bar,and the height of the rack from the ground(from the bottom of the 4x2)to the centre of the torsion bar.ive got a millon questions for you dbradley so i must say again thanks for your help.
i can give you my email address if its easier i have lots of pics of chassis and ive got a rough idea of what i want, If i could box up a teo or bicknell i would love to but it doubles the chassis price then you have exchange rate so it would make buying a chassis not worth it then you have the trans and rear end to buy so again thanks for your help

I was looking at the V8 modified site and say afew cars that loked like a Bicknel and a TEO car. Are they or just copys. looks like most cars are spring car chassis with DIRT body? Do you use live tube rears and drag tires.

What do you use for a trans? Does the 04 Bicknell have stock rear suspension? can you run weight jackers on your torsion bars?

Robferr how about if you mount the master cylinder on the rear deck out of reach to the driver, Would you then be able to use a torsion bar weight Jac-R?

racer the longest race we do is 30 to 35 laps on a 1/3rd mile track so you dont need to make driver adjustments and our tracks are hooked up most of the nite its not often you would get dry slick

Rob your car looks good,Do you do your own sheetmetal? I do all my own sheetmetal work. I also do alot of bodies and sheetmetal for other teams. I should be able to get the new chassis uncovered this weekend and get you some pics.

Thanks racer I get a little help but i try to do as much as i can.
This year i must admit it looks O.K but we allways try to improve on last year !!!!
The trouble is we run short wheelbase so the cars look short compared to your cars.
Thanks again racer for all your help.
