Just wondering how many sheets it would take to do the outside skins on the new car??? going to use the old roof, hood, and scoop

Should take about 2 4x12 sheets to do just outer qtrs, sails, and doors. 3 sheets if you use 4x10, and 4 sheets if you use 4x8.
I have all of the templates for Bicknell I get $325.00 for outer skins

Hey racer....thanks for the price and info....How much is a sheet of painted aluminum going for these days??? I know it has been going up... what size do you use, .040??

racer mostly uses 4x12 but not all colors come in that size. the color can impact the cost. racer dose all the ordering so i don't know the current price (it has gone up), im just the shop lacky.

How much more are colored skins,,,I would think that it would save enough time that it would be cosy effective though

dbradley I don't charge anymore for color tin, only when I do chrome or an anodized metal. I also use all .050 it holds up better.

Thanks Racer, We are thinking about keeping the cars old paint scheme....Thought about blue and white too...

Racer, how much extra would it be to re-skin the chutes...he had a motor let go and melted the chutes pretty good..

Racer,,,Who's product do you use...I was thinking they might have a color chart we could look through...I know wrisco has one on there site....We are thinking about changing to a blue with white and yellow..

I do use Wrisco. On inner tin depends on what panels. Rear deck, mid wing, front wing?
