Anyone tried the new type guage where you don't have to turn your wheels? I saw it on the GRT web site under new items and that is what it stated, but I don't know how much it cost or how it works. I also saw it somewhere else but right now it escapes my memory. Anyone? Thanks for your time.

It only works on screw on spindles with a keyway to line it up as far as i know, not on stock spindles.

the keyway is what makes it work on aftermarket spindles.

you could do the same thing with a tube and a angle finder between your upper and lower ball joints.

The gauge is great. If you read the description it says there are different cutter kits for stock spindles.I have a kit for metrics and pintos. It comes with a cutter you use in a die grinder and a guide nut. Good instructions also. Saves a ton of time and makes weekly maintenance easier. Can you imagine no turn plates? Great product!

so do you have to remove your cotter pin and nut to screw it on??

I can imagine no turn plates. I use a $2.99 angle finder mounted on a piece of tubing thats notched to fit between my ball joints. just weld a leg off the tubing 90 degrees and set your angle finder on there and read in actual numbers where your at.
