JUST HEARD THEY ARE LETTING YOU RUN THE A/R FRONTS TIL JULY 1 AND THE REAR TIL JUNE 1 ANY ONE HEARD THEY ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH NEW TIRE? THIS EXTRA TIME SOUNDS FISHY TO ME. THERE HAS GOT TO BE SOMEONE OUT THERE THAT HAS RUN THIS NEW TIRE.

Fishy? I think not. A lot of racers requested the date be pushed back to use up their current A/R tire before having to buy the hoosiers.

Shawboy, would you please share any other experience you have with this tire? For instance, does there seem to be a lot of variance in stagger off the rack like the A/R? What pressures are you finding to be effective, and how much difference in pressure are you having to run from the A/R's?

I have read on other posts that the Hoosier tire has a stiffer sidewall than the A/R. Would you then say that is NOT the case since you are finding you have to run higher pressures? Thanks again for your insight, good stuff.

The new IMCA monthly "Inside IMCA"page 20. Has a article that states Hoosier recommends
RR 16-24 LR 12-20 RF 18-26 LF 14-22 in the G-60's. More than we had been running with the ARs. So there must be a difference in the sidewall stiffness. The tire just feels different even when mounting it.The flex of the sidewall feels like a real racing tire instead of a street tire design. It also beads up a little tighter. Bigger POP! We haven't run them yet but I have mounted up a couple of sets.
