I like to have to lower a-arms level. Then have the rear about a half inch higher than the front. Dont worry about a specific number of inches, wherever your car sits with the lowers level. . .so be it.

Jellos method is the way that I have always heard to use. Last years ride wasn't from a chassis builder. I think it was 6 3/4" LF, 7 1/4" RF and a little higher in the back.
