I really like the look of a car three wheeling down the straight, I am getting a new car which is a 4 link z link, rr spring on top, with braking bar. How are these cars doing this, I know some cars that try to hard to showboat and make their LF come up three feet in the turns, then they are forced to let off because their cars are so tight off exit. I want my car to start picking up the LF when i roll into the throttle, how is that possible, I am new to all of this 4 link stuff.

You'll want to set the car up to be fast, if it three wheels when it is fast, then it's an added bonus. If you are buying a new car and purposley setting it up to three wheel, you just spent a bunch of money for nothing. Get the car driving good and going good, don't worry about where the lf ends up.

I know the car is fast, it was run by a very fast driver and he was really fast in the car, but he picked up the LF a little in the turn, I was just wanting to know how people made their cars perform like that.

front roll center way to the left with lots of left rear bar angle and a good amount of cross ...and you cant keep the thing on the ground !......at least with a three link this is what I have found.

If you try to set the car up strictly to 3 wheel i'll almost guarantee youll be slower. Just make the car fast and dont worry about 3 wheeling. If it happens it happens.

if it 3-wheels 2 much you will get fuel in your face!my car used to try and 3 wheel just going to line up(yeah it was extreme).it would roll so far in the corners fuel would actually come out of the back of the air cleaner and cover my face! That's an unsafe feeling!!!tamed her down a little and went faster, but it still pulled a little.

Madnick18, when you say softer RR spring what should I go with, right now I have 225 lb. LR clamped in front of axle, RR spring 175lb. on top?? Should I go with 150 RR or 125 RR with 175 LR.

A 4 legged dog is faster than a 3 legged dog.

i car is desinded to run on four wheel so if u take a wheel away u r defeting the purpose and probally goin to slow the car down, at our track the three wheeling cars are always in the back or middle of the pack
