Just a question about weight, what kind of rear weight % do you guys run on dry slick non-rubbered tracks? As well what do you consider as a heavy car? ( total wieght )I have heard that a 4 link car with 56.5% rear is all you need for dry slick,is this true? Some guys I have heard say they run at 60% i feel thats too much.Thanks....My car is a 4 link as well.

58pct. Anything greater than your track's weight rule is too heavy.

We typically would start about 56-56.5 maybe up to 57 with alky instead of gas. Thats with 4 link car, a 2 link car on the same track we ran 60%

Run as close to minimum weight as you can but sometimes being a little heavier might help if it gets all your % better. We would run about 25# over minimum all year. But could go to an open show with no weight rule and run even lighter and the car would work just as good, maybe even better.
