Have any of yall ever run a biscuit bar on their car instead of the progressive spring bar? Thanks if yall have time to help.

This year, we are going with the 1050 spring bar instead of the progressive. I've personally never liked the biscuits. They wear out too quickly. I had one at one time, and it did seem to work better on a tacky track, but the spring was more forgiving on the dry track, but it all could have been due to the compression differencess. If that is what you already have though, it wouldn't hurt to try, there are a lot of people running them with great success, but it makes something else I have to check and replace each week, which is a hassle for someone that has to work for a living. If you have to order one, I'd go with the spring bar.

Thanks, we just bought the car used and it has a spring bar on it, we normally use a biscuit bar. We'll give the spring bar a try.

I asked Scotty about it today. He has never been much of a biscuit fan on anything. He just said he wouldn't recommend it for one of his cars.

Thanks, just thinking about back up supply of parts and really don't want to have purchase another spring bar if the biscuit would work.
