Looking for some answers, I got a steering box off a 1980 Z-28 camero and I want to use in on my metric clip. The pitman arm that came with it will not work due to it hits the frame on the drivers side, and I know it will not work with the metric center link. Does anyone have an idea what pitman arm I could use to make this work. The pitman arm that came with it is straight and I need one that has a drop to it. I am running metric lowers also.

I believe a pitman arm from a metric will work on that box just fine. If I'm not mistaken, the splines on the steering box between a f-body and small metric and big metric are all the same. Dave
