Have any of you guys ever replaced the motor or converted a manual roller to electric ?

I realize that mittler makes the best roller out there and worth every penny that they ask.I just don't use one enough or have the cash to buy one, plus I already have a cheapie .

I am trying to figure out what hp or style motor they use on their cadillac , also I think their roller has a reverse on it.

If any of you can help , I thank you.

Vic Irvin Tool has a variable speed, pedal controlled, reversible motor kit for their bead roller that you may be able to adapt to yours. We bought our first bead roller from Irvin tools without motor. After the first attempt to roll a straight bead about three feet long we ordered the power kit. I don't have there site handy but they advertise in just about every racing magazine.

I think it is IRVAN SMITH Tools now. The motor looks like it is from a sewing machine.
