i am running a 4/2 setup and wondering what length pullbar you guys prefer. currently mine is 24" at 15 deg. but the cars lifts very sudden on the lr only. i am running 225 lr, 175rr. the top lr bar is 17" and 15deg. the bottom is 15" and flat. lr shock is 96-2. thinking of going to a longer pullbar and was looking for some recomendations.

Mines like 42 inches and i run a 4-z, Tends to lift whole car, my old car had a short pull bar and pretty much did the same as yours, just lifted the lr.

I am also running the 4-2. My pullbar is 21" My car carries the LF pretty high if I want it to. And yes it can be erratic at times but for the most part its ok. I had a 42" on my old mod, but it was a rubber bar where now I have a spring bar and my old car was a 3-link so I really can't compare the two.

What EXACTLY is the problem with the car, it may not be in the pull-bar length. Extending the pullbar will slow down the lift of the car and help it keep traction on down the straights, but will provide less "instant" traction. If you are dead set on changing the pull-bar, then go ahead and if you don't mind let me know what differences you find. But if you want to try and make sure thats your problem before you go thru the trouble of extending everything, just tell us what the car is doing.
