Why don't you see more top drivers run one? Seen guys like Friesen,Thompson,Wallace run Jets for a while but move on to other builders.

Good question. When I first started into mods, I was thinking about buying one. Never did, no particular reason either. But, the Jets are built on the large metric frames I believe. So that may have something to do with it???? I also heard that it was hard to get setup help from Jet. If someone has some insight into Jet please respond, I am curious about this also.

I will start by saying I dont have anything bad to say about Sattoff, just my experiences! Take if for what you will...

Had a Jet Viper, liked it, converted it to 4bar LR, ran well and won some with it, Jonny and crew were all ways willing to help, again, have nothing bad to say about them... But just seemed like i could never quite get it where i needed it settup wise, tried all their ideas... was considering getting a new Lear from them. I believe all Jets are built on a full sized impala clip, so there is a front weight penalty compared to other builders, the cars are very strong and safe with the 'tank' front clip though. Went to Batesville with the Jet; got lost in a sea of GRT's, Shaws, Shaw/Taylors, a few Peirce, Shyrockets. Ran the Highplains Shootout in Kansas on the way home, again i was one of 2 jets, talked with a ton of folks between the two shows, many from Nebraska who have had prior Jets and most seemed to arive at the following conclusion, 'seems like the only one that can really get the Jets to fly, is Jonny!'...

decieded on a Shaw.

I'm not hate'n just my 2 cents.
