Anyone ever buy any of these wheels? I seen an add on Slider racing .com's website where you can buy wheels factory direct, set of 4 with valve stems, nuts and a wind deflector deal for 3 reg rims & 1 beadlock for $350, and set of 8 for $550.

Good deal, but wondered if the wheels were of any account?

Buy a set and let us know, Krom. For now, I'm sticking to my Barts.
BTW, Since we're talking about wheels, Has anyone else noticed any particular brand of wheel being easier to mount or dismount a tire? I have no problem whatsoever with a Bart, But have to work like a MadMan to get a tire off an Aero. Is there some sort of trick to working with an Aero? I've tried it from both sides. Dave

I agree with "thebomb", I bought a 4-pack of their chrome wheels this spring. They held up pretty darned well. Still got 2 of them on the car!

And the price is right. I plan on buying another set next spring for 06.

I've got Istock59's Beadlock (Which I still owe $25 bux on LOL), I ran it from the weekend I got it up until I put a 3" offset on the RR. I like it.. Looks good and the price was right also...

But.. I've got a deal going for wheels next year so I won't have to buy anymore

TEAMPCR, i have noticed the same exact thing concerning the wheels. I usually get the Barts, but have bough a few Basset's on the internet and them things i play **** with to get a tire mounted.

Thanks for the heads on the Alied wheels, i just wanted to make sure they were of decent quality. The price is great, and free shipping makes it even better.

Krom.

I gots a question.... whats the weight of these wheels?? I was at the track last year and bent a rim with no spare the same offset, so I bought some off-brand name wheel from a guy at the track and that thing felt like it weighed 40 lbs LOL!! Anyone have a weight on em'

we have run some of the 19lb allied wheels I bought used. the seem pretty good so far.
I bought a couple of 39.00 wheels from the purple company and those weigh in at 21 lbs.
You really notice the difference when you are loading tires into the trailer.
The biggest Pain in the rear-end wheels to mount and dismount seem to be circle's.

I've done some "Real" wheels, (beadlock), that were a total pain. Then some that were a piece of cake. We've run allieds and they are ok.

Aeros have a better bead retaining bump than the barts.

Are there any better than aeros?? As in hold the tire on better?

Ive been running black barts for 39.99 from summit and need some more.

350 isnt a good deal for 3 non beadlocks, 52 each, 156 total and a beadlock which is 109 is that 350 for chrome or am I missing something?

$350 for chrome. 3 regulars, any offset. 1 beadlock, any offset.

Includes 20 lugnuts, valve stems, and mud-buster style of beadlock. Oh, and free shipping. No tax either.

They hold the tire on pretty good too. I mashed a RF hard this year. Wheel was trashed, but the tire stayed on and held air.
