does anyone know where i can get a set of 4 link birdcages with the metric caliper mount on them?i have a bob peirce mod.the rearend is a 58'' floater setup.the problem is i have it all where i want it now and i only have about 1/2'' on each end of the axles for the brake caliper clamp, this isnt enough room so if i could find a set of birdcages with the caliper mount already on them it would be perfect.a local builder told me to just weld on caliper mounts but id rather not go that route..any advice?or anyone know where i can get a set of these birdcages(steel)??

BSB makes a very good birdcage that you can clamp the shock/spring or float it and same for the caliper, so it would save you room.
620-326-3152 is thier number and build great parts.

i think you better put the correct housing in it, bob uses a 60 inch rear. we have a 60 inch but it has coleman snouts which are longer than any others which sets the brakes inboard farther which get the calipers too close to the z-link bar on the right rear. you will be closer yet, plus you don't wan't the brakes on the birdcages anyhow they need to be clamped on the housing. hope this helps.

I would go with a new rear housing, It will save you a lot of head aches down the road.
there is a reason different manufactures have different widths.
Then your running a short rearend on a car were he recomends 2" offsets on the back already
just a thought
