Hey Guys and Gals, been out of internet service for almost three weeks and I sure miss all of yall on here. All of the racers down here are like drug addicts without any drugs about right now. My family and I, my house and hunting dogs survived the storm.
Thank God for the generator on the race car trailor. All of our local tracks in South Louisiana and Mississippi have substained damage with the exception of Baton Rouge Raceway. One track is being used as a dump site. Most of the areas where I salt water fish have been wiped off the map so it looks like I,ll have to knock the dust off of the shotgun and turn the beagles loose on Oct. 1st just to pass the time. Compared to some folks down here I am living like the King of Saudi Arabia. Yall think the snow is bad, trust me bear with the snow you don't want a hurricane like Katrina.

Glad to hear you made it thru, Artie.

I used to have customers that ran at West Bank Speedway. That was closed recently, wasn't it? Is that the place they're using as a dump now?

Just wondering...

Westbank Speedway was sold to a landfill company but the property where the race track was is still there and they haven't done anything with it yet.
St.Tammany speedway, I still call it Hickory is the track they are using for a dump. I guess they are using the parking lot and pit area to stage trees and debris until they can grind it all up and dispose of it later.
