We used to run the 4-z and now run the 4-2. We like the 4-2 better, our car is a whole lot smoother and took a rough track better. It didn't lift the lf as much. It might be it fit the driver better. We might go back and try the 4-z later,we were just figuring the 4-z out. A lot of people are fast on the 4-z, you have more adjustments for track conditions. Hope this helps

Hey slasher,

Run both springs behind the housing, the LR on the birdcage and of course the RR clamped to the housing. If you elect to clamp the LR spring you put it up front.

If you will PM me and tell what stub you have, pull-bar type, bar lengths and what type panhard bar I will help you set it up. This 4-2 can be really fast and it handles the rough tracks like a 3-link but has the forward bite of a 4-link! Best of both worlds. I've never ran a 4-Z thou so I know nothing about them as comparing them to the 4-2.

We run spring behind on lr on a slider, rr behind on a c/o. Lr spring 225, rr 200. We got this set up from flynloimca17. He can help you more than I can, but if you need something else just PM me. Hope this helps.
