Thinking about running our car on a double Z link / Swing arm set up, and was wondering about a few things.

Swing arms will be 18" a piece, rear rod is 16" long. Spring on the arm and shock behind. Also we currently run this on the RR with a 4 bar on the LR. The RR we currently run a 300lb spring.

So i was thikning of the same thing on the left side, with a 325lb spring. Question i got is, how much wedge and or bite do you usually run on this type of set up?

We usually run about 150lbs as our base with the 4 bar behind now. So i guess i may need more. It will be run on a small, kinda round, high banked track (lawrenceburg Speedway).

The car is ok now, just ok, seems it gets rough and the 4 bar LR just binds things up to much in the corner. Just looking to try a few things before the last race of the year.

Thanks, Krom.

I had thought you ran at Lawrenceburg from other posts. Which car do you race?

We usually run out at Brush Creek, but they dont have alot of dates in the september so were gonna run the Burg a couple times, and then run the fun fest.

We run the Black #13 car.

Yep we were down there once, didnt have the right gear, and had a minor crash in the feature. Neat track thou, its like two drag strips connected by 2 high banked u-turn lanes.

We'll try it, just looking for something to try these last couple of races, something different. I'll crank a bunch of LR in it and give it a go.

There was about 20-24 cars there. Alot of brushcreek cars(J. Stricker, Darren D,Brad W.) and a couple of 201 cars (Brandon Johnson, etc. We set fast time, inverted the dash came to 2nd in dash Stricker has one he!! of a motor. Feature time Stricker jumped me out of the hole but we passed him back in turn 2 and pulled everyone 3-4 car lengths and went on to win. I believe this car gets faster everytime out. We have had a great year total of 21 features between both cars. We are going to RTR on the 24 then up to KC next month. What gear do we need for KC?
