We have a DW8 with a combo 4 bar, two bar suspention . the driver wants to tighten it up a bit for the slick tracks we have been having here lately. he wants to raise the Lft rear spring 25 lbs. I want to increase the panard angle. which is more effective??

just based on those two adjustments, the LR spring will actually loosen the car going in and tighten it coming out. The panhard bar adjustment will tighten the car into the turn, thru the middle and you will see a small amount of tightening off the turns.

My opinion, depending on how much panhard bar angle you have now??? I would say lower BOTH ends of the panhard bar to lower the roll center and provide more weight transfer on the slick track. Then possibly make a LR bar angle change. If the car is handling pretty close to how you want it now, try adjusting the car first without making a spring change, because the spring change will have one affect entering the turn and COULD have a different affect exiting. By adjusting the panhard you eliminate most of that opposite affect. Moving the LR bars will have a small change upon entering but the most you will feel is exit. Hope that helps!!

Where does the driver want the car tighter?
Entry,entry to center,center or exit?
