wondering what kinda horsepower is needed to be competitive at eldora for the nationals at eldora. what size gears are recomended. Thanks

we are gonna run a 5.14.
planning on turning right around 7200
horsepower we have about 550-600 horses..
it is a horsepower track

what kinda chasis are u running? what we have a torquy motor so gears will prob be different im sure. around 500 ft ibs of torque.

i gave u wrong power numbers 600-650 not sure with torque its a Kercher Engines great power..
i would probably run at least a 4.86 gear..

we r running a pierce overrail but have an underrail as well, prob underrail would be better u think? we wanna run around 7000 RPM. the horse power is around 500 HP and 500 Ft ILBs of torque. what do u think 500s would do. u gonna be running 4 link/zlink? thanks.

our car is a aftermarket underrail Ellis put in the bars for the underrails. we will start with the baseline setups (maybe) i would bring a few sets maybe 4.86 5.00 5.14
our car is blue yellow number zero open trailer marroon gmc truck see ya there!

u r from pa right? ive seen ur name on Bobs website. u have any idea what springs and stuff u will be running. we run LF 800 RF 700 LR 200 RR 225. 35 pounds lr bite with 25 lb ballast in front of fuel cell and the car is wicked fast on IMCA tires. we will have a 2004 dodge with a silver enclosed trailer. silver and blue reclamation 22m. and our overrail is 49 because kenny schrader drove it in july at our home track and finshed 2nd!!!! we are from NY. see you there. no pa here Indiana boys..
we will bring some springs but gonna start with basic spring package. i dont think we have a 800 spring oh well.
