Running a 4 bar swing arm car, spring on lr is floated on top. What are the advantages or disadvantages with floating the spring on a coil over behind the rearend?

First, why would you run the LR spring on top of the axle??? You take away the advantage of using indexing of the birdcage if you run it behind on the birdcage, and you take away the advantage using axle rotation adding wedge/LR bite if you run it clamped in front. I also wouldn't suggest you run a coilover on the LR. Run the spring behind on a coilover eliminator and run the shock in front. This way you can better control the indexing and suspension action with the shock in front.
