I have an '99 J- car swingarm z link. The car works great when I have clean track, but when I have someone in front of me and can't stay on the gas in the corner it picks up a bad push. It pushes off the gas. I am running a wissota Midwest mod. holley 500 automatic trans with converter. I have no adjustments on my bars. The only bars that have muti holes are the panhard bar and pull bar. The z link has a single mount. I use to brag about how great this car was but it now is having this pushing problem. I'm willing to try anything. I tried raising the panhard bar to free up the car but the push was still there and I lost my side bite. I am running 51% cross 54% left 57% rear and 128 lb bite. shocks 74 lf 75 rf 94 both back.

You could add a little more cross to help loosen entry some. Depends on how your exit is right now.

OR

I'd go w/ a softer LF spring to help it turn in. You could try a stiffer RF as well.

If you have a 90/10 shock on the rearend, you could remove that to loosen entry. My car slams down to hard without one.

More cross will loosen it on entry ??? I thought that would tighten it. I've been tring less cross. Was I wrong? Springs might be worth a shot.... I think I have 900# on both fronts. I will double check my springs. I think I need to double check my rear end for a bad hiems end too.

If you are off the gas and have alot of gear or use alot of rear brake more cross will loosen entry especially if you pitch the car.

I am running a very deep gear. Lots of rear brake and I pitch my car.... It's almost like you saw me racing. I would have never tried more cross. How much more should I try?

I agree, you need more cross. think of it this way, the rr is biting too good when off the gas and dragging that side down better than the left. Which makes a push off the gas.

DSR54, Do you let off the gas completly when entering turns? I am running an 03 j car as a Midwest Mod, with same setup as yours, except i am running about 320 lbs of bite. Mine turns fine going in, but I get a nasty push when I get back on the gas, if the track is tacky. If track is dry, then car works great.

I must be going the wrong way.... I think push so I need less cross... But it's not working. Just rescaled the car before last week. 48% cross 56% rear 54% left 52 lbs of bite. I pulled my pull bar out of the rearend and it took out the mount pull bar shocks driveline and tranny. When I got it back together I couldn't use the same pull bar mounts so I moved it up one hole on the rearend so it has more angle in it. I have always ran it flat before that. Also changes from last year is a weight change and I added the weight clear in back by the back bumper. The car drops when it it is unloaded. Also wondering if The weight this far back might cause a problem. I would like to try some stuff I only have one more race this year to try a few things. I would like to get a handle on it for next year.

I think I might have found my problem. When i jacked it up to put it on the scales I noticed the left front move. I checked it out, and found the holes for my lower control arm were oblonged. I welded washers on the frame to fix the problem.... I hope. I rescaled the car and ended up with 54.1 left 53.4 rear and 52 cross. My right front was way lighter than the left front. I put some lead on the RF to level it out and get rid of some rear. I hope I get to try it out before the long winter.

Thanks everyone for the help.
