02 pierce chassis 4 bar rr.
on our chassis the top link doesnt quite line up for four link it moves the rr tire forward a half inch.
I called Bob and said it shoudnt, question is what would the affects be if i lenghten the top link to keep the neutral steer in it.16.5 to a 17 inch bar.

1/2" isn't probably going to make too much of a difference, but a longer bar reacts slower than a shorter one. And I may be wrong on this part but doesn't a longer bar, hold the thrust longer????

are you adjusting this at ride height?
If not it wont line up, and make sure your links are the correct length.
when your in the z link on the right side does your wheel base come out right?
Bob is right it should line up.

touchy????

Just extend the bar a half inch. I would think that squaring the diff and wheelbase would be more important than a 1/2" difference on bar length. Plus I know some people extend their brackets on the RR to run a longer bar, to smooth out the chassis. So this really shouldn't be a problem.

Hope that helps!!!!
