Has anyone tried traction bars either one or both on a mono leaf car?

I'm not real good on leaf cars. I ran a mono car briefly. But I wouldn't think traction bars would work too well because they wouldn't let the springs wrap and do their job. I guess they'd kinda be like a lift arm but reacting on the springs instead of the chassis. Not sure, but I just don't see it working very well at all. JMO

Appearently no one has tried this. I'm going to try it with one on the left side. I'll let everyone know if it worked

maybe if you put the traction bar on the left then take the band off the back of the spring, that way it makes the front of the spring solid like a 3-link and the unbanded rear of the spring can fan open and allow the LR to "crawl" forward more..... I don't know for sure, just an observation.

Well I ran last night with a traction bar attached to left mono. It really helped bite with out screwing up handling. Next week I'm going to try the otherside also.

Well ran both traction bars and had no forward bite. Before the feature I pulled the right side traction bar off. In the feature it had plenty of both side bite and forward bite.

BTW the track was bad dry slick and rough. I started 18 and finish 8th

Nice run! Thinking about building a mono car myself.
