what are the pros and cons in changing to a j-bar.and if i do change what else do i need to change to make it work.car is a 2 link dw8

Changing from what? We use a j-bar on our 2-link Dw-8 on tacky/rough tracks & it works good. 2nd hole from bottom on pinion plate, & 7" up on chassis. When the track is dry & REAL SMOOTH, we go to a 15" straight bar. Same location.
