solid pullbar wont work as well as a rubber one or a spring loaded one with the 4 bar stuff.

car will handle rough tracks much better with the 2-link RR also you'll find the car is much, much more forgiving. It will increase the forward bite and can make it real easy to 3-wheel LOL! The 4-2 is very versatile, its just as fast on tacky as dry and its also just as fast either smooth or rough. I really like the 4-2. Much better for me than a 4-4.

thanks flyn,
the track i am strugglin with ussually starts wet and is tacky by feature. ussually rough. i have been tight off there. i am gonna try right side mounted j-bar, more left lower bar angle (lr on birdcage) and went from 200 to 250 rr spring. if the car isnt good i am gonna go back with the 4-2 setup next time. when you went from 4 rr to 2, how did you set the angle of the 2? is 7-10 degrees good? did you make any other changes?

track was rough when we went out for our first heat!!!!
changes got rid of my tight out problem, actually too loose through the middle. moved the left lower bar down 2 holes, from 5 degrees up to 5 degrees down, to increase the index on the lr spring, helped lots. but still not quite what i want. added 2 rounds, and a 1/3 rubber in the rf for the feature, but my coil quit working while i was sittin in line up.
think i will try the 4-2 next time i go there. anybody have any more suggestions for the initial change from 4 to 2 link on the rr?

Where are you going to run your rr spring. We found on a tacky track, the spring on top worked well, but not as good on dry slick. We put the spring on a c/o clamped behind and it worked real well for us(smoother). We ran less lr bite 110 to 60. We ran the rr bar about 5 degrees up. I believe the spring behind increases your spring rate alittle from on top. Helps this helps.

I run the RR lower bar level. with around 50-70 lbs LR. Like washeduptoo said the RR clamped behind is much better for dry-slick. Moving the lower bar up to say 7-10 degrees will loosen the car all around the turn as compared to the bar being level. So if your car is tight then start around 5 degrees up like washeduptoo's. If its loose then start with it level.

i normally run the rr spring clamped behind, and lr on the hook.
remember, i run a solid pillbar, so spring location wont effect my car as much.
thanks for the help evrybody.
